My specialist area is ceramics, especially raku fired ware, but I am just as enthusiastic when working with metal, glass and copper enamel. I enjoy all aspects of sculptural work as well as creating object, video, and sensory installation art. I am currently trying to take the process of portraiture on raku fired ceramic tiles, a step further by using newer techniques. I am also interested in portraying imagery on fused glass.

I enjoy working with metal, glass, and raku fired ceramics in particular, but I also enjoy the challenge of mixed media sculpture and installation art. My material practice at this time is in aluminium and enamelled copper, as after using etched aluminium in a large installation piece I am now concentrating on combining this technique with enamelled copper to produce smaller scale wall pieces.
We are constantly striving to improve our material and artistic practice, taking inspiration from the world around us and artists such as Ben Nicholson, Wassily Kandinsky,and Christian Boltanski. We endeavour to keep our artwork fresh by continual experimentation and adaptation.
